Do you care about the environment? Do you believe that we need to protect our planet to protect our future?
FSNet-Africa and AUDA-NEPAD invite the youth (under the age of 18) in our network to connect for climate change and sustainability by sharing a short video or artwork. You can send us a photo, drawing, painting, sculpture, or any other type of artwork that shows us:
- Why we should care about the environment.
- What we should be doing to protect the planet.
- Why you care about the environment.
- Why you think it is important that we take care of it.
There are two categories to enter:
- The best artwork
- The best video (less than 90 seconds)

The six best works of art and the six best videos will be showcased at our FSNet-Africa Stakeholder Engagement Dialogue, which is taking place in October 2023, during the session on ‘Climate-smart and sustainable food systems for Africa’. The audience members will vote for their favourite artwork and video.
Winners will be announced on 18 October 2023 at the FSNet-Africa Stakeholder Engagement Dialogue.
Prizes to be won:
- $30 book voucher for the best artwork (or an amount equivalent to $30 in your country)
- $30 book voucher for the best video (or an amount equivalent to $30 in your country)

Terms and conditions:
Only individuals under the age of 18 will be permitted to enter the competition.
Only original artworks and videos will be considered.
Entrees will only be considered if a consent form has been signed by a parent or guardian and submitted with the entry form.
