FSNet-Africa Summer School starts in
The Food Systems Research Network for Africa (FSNet-Africa) is hosting this year’s second Summer School at the University of Leeds. The UK Summer School is scheduled to start on the 20th of June 2022. This is a follow up to the first University of Pretoria (UP) Summer School that was held online in January 2022. The main objective of the summer schools is to build capacities and strengthen networks. FSNet-Africa Fellows will spend an exciting two to three weeks at the University of Leeds, where they will participate in training aspects such as:
- Interdisciplinary Research
- Policy Advocacy
- Academic leadership
Mentors and UP hosts will participate in the Summer School for a week, allowing the research teams to meet and explore collaboration opportunities with the broader Leeds academic community.
