Meet our UP Hosts

Meet our UP Hosts

The research teams participating in the FSNet-Africa fellowship each consist of a research triad and the UP host. The research triad will work together to design and implement the research project and includes a fellow, a mentor from the University of Leeds, and a mentor from one of the 10 FSNet-Africa academic partner institutions. Triads will be linked to a researcher at the University of Pretoria (the UP host), who will help them network within the institution. UP hosts may be engaged in the research projects if the triads would like to leverage their expertise and the UP hosts are interested in collaborating at this level. The level of engagement of the UP host will vary across triads and will be agreed upon between the triad and the UP host.
