Ms Isaacs is a former Head of Department of the Western Cape Department of Agriculture. During this time, she played a significant role in the development of the ‘commodity approach’ – where industry and the Department’s resources and expertise were pooled to create synergies and cooperation on many levels. Currently, she is chairperson of the Board of the Agricultural Research Council (ARC) – appointed in July 2020 by the Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform, and Rural Development.
