Ms Tendai Saidi

Tendai is the Acting National Director of CISANET where she has overall oversight for all programmes. She is a seasoned and registered public health nutritionist with eight years of experience in the development sector. She has been involved in nutrition-specific and sensitive programming, gender-based violence programming and advocacy.

Prior to joining CISANET, she held various programming positions in international and local NGOs in Malawi and the Ministry of Health in Zimbabwe.  Tendai is passionate about community development, women empowerment and gender equity. She is a co-founder and the current President of the Women in Global Health Malawi Chapter.

She has an MSc. in Global Health Nutrition from the University of Westminster, UK, a Postgraduate Certificate in International Community Health from the University of Oslo, Norway and a BSc. in Nutrition form the University of Zimbabwe.
